Have you considered having therapy outdoor?

I offer therapy outdoor - walk and talk- as an alternative to meeting in the consulting room.

Not everyone is the same and not everyone finds being in a room the most beneficial setting at all times. â€‹Research tells us that being outdoors improves mental health naturally and for some people it could make it easier to relax and connect. Working outdoors seems to offer a direct route into authenticity. It’s enormously simple, but has subtle and profound effects.

Outdoor therapy can help with just about anything indoor therapy can.

Outdoor therapy is suitable for everyone, and you may consider outdoor therapy if:

  • You find the traditional therapy setting awkward and uncomfortable

  • You find it easier to talk with moving

  • You had previously difficult or abusive experience in therapy

  • You tend toffee more anxious and nervous in a closed space than in the open

It can also be helpful for people who find the conventional therapy setting awkward and uncomfortable, as well as those who generally find it easier to talk when moving.

We can walk side by side, or find a bench to sit and talk. We can alternate working indoor and outdoor in different periods.

I provide outdoor therapy in large London parks - preferably Victoria park and Highbury fields but we can discuss other locations. What is important is to have enough space for our conversations to be private, and a tranquil and relaxing natural environment.

Before we start working outdoor, we will agree on the weather conditions that we both feel are suitable to work outdoors and we will use an on-line setting as a backup option when the these conditions are not available.
