Psychosynthesis
About
Psychosynthesis is a liberating discipline – a map to help navigate human experience and a toolbox for life.

What is Psychosynthesis?
Psychosynthesis is a holistic approach to psychology that integrates various aspects of the human experience, including the emotional, mental, aspirational and the body dimensions.
Psychosynthesis aims to help individuals achieve self-realization and harmonize their inner conflicts by accessing their higher purpose and transpersonal aspects.
Key Concepts
The Self. The core of one's personality, often referred to as the "true self," which is a source of wisdom, purpose, and unity.

Subpersonalities. Different aspects of the personality that may conflict with each other (e.g., the inner critic, the caretaker, the achiever). Psychosynthesis helps integrate these parts into a cohesive whole.

The Will. A central focus on developing and aligning one's will - personal, emotional and aspirational, and to achieve growth and transformation.

Stages of Development. Psychosynthesis recognizes stages of personal growth, from self-awareness to self-realization and ultimately to transpersonal realization.

Psychosynthesis in the Therapy room
Psychosynthesis provides the therapist with lenses to analyse the client’s present experience and past history.
In Psychosynthesis, symptoms are seen as something to explore rather than something to cure. They call our attention to look within and they signify that something needs to change in our inner or outer life.

I sit beside my clients and support them in exploring what is happening in their present, with curiosity, understanding, compassion and without any judgment. We work together to explore the present experience holistically, at the levels of thinking, feeling, body and imagination.

We will naturally find ourselves exploring events of the past, as this is where core beliefs about ourselves and the world were formed.

Throughout this journey I will use Psychosynthesis tools and concepts to help you discover and integrate unconscious parts of your personality, precess traumatic experiences and change your inner narrative to stimulate change.
